OPEN CALL FOR CLAY MAKERS, POTTERS, CERAMISTS, ARTISTS AND CRAFTSPEOPLE
The Clay Makers’ Market (CMM25) is an important platform in Singapore for clay makers to meet other clay makers and new customers, create awareness of their works, showcase studio practices and introduce your courses. It is also the place to view the works of other clay makers, share ideas and be challenged to work in new ways.
CMM25 exhibitors are eligible for the Clay Makers’ Market 2025 Awards! Your stand or table may be named ‘Best Stand’ or ‘Best Table’ based on ceramic works and display! Individual awards are also made for ‘Best Functional Work’ and ‘Best Non-Functional Work’.
Send us your completed application by 30 April to receive our special rates.

ELIGIBILITY
CMM25 is open for application by all potters and ceramists who are either
-
Singaporeans
-
based in Singapore
-
based in Southeast Asian countries plus Hong Kong, Taiwan and India.
Ceramic studios, workshops, and crafting and teaching centres may apply for individual clay makers of their group.
Applications are not open to commercial art galleries.

Applicants under the age of 18 must have the permission of a parent or guardian.
Applicants based outside of Singapore may:

apply as individuals in informal groups or formal groups
-
consider applying for grants from art institutions or foundations in their home country
Applicants based outside of Singapore shall arrange for and bear the cost of:
-
airfare and transport to and from Singapore,
-
accommodation and food in Singapore,
-
shipping of clay works to and from Singapore.

• Application for CMM25 closes on 7 July 2025 23:59h.
HOW TO APPLY
• Apply and pay the application fee for either of the following options.
​
Table: Feature from 1 to 3 individuals.
Table size 60 cm x 120 cm, 1 chair
​
Stand: Feature from 1 to 5 individuals.
Stand size 2 m x 2 m shell space, 1 table of 60 cm x 120 cm and 2 chairs.
You may bring in your own additional tables and display units.
• Application fee covers all Clay Makers’ Market days from 6 - 9 November.

• Unsuccessful applicants will receive a full refund.
​
• No sales commission will be charged by the Organizers for sales at the Clay Makers’ Market.
• Complimentary tickets for your guests:
Per Table - 25 complimentary tickets
Per Stand - 40 complimentary tickets
• Parental supervision is required for accepted applicants between 7 and 15 years old.
• Ceramic studios, workshops, and crafting and teaching centres may also apply for participation at the Clay Makers’ Market.
Application Deadline
• Applications for CMM25 close at 23:59h on 7 July 2025
• The Organizers will confirm acceptance of applications by 21 July 2025.
• The Organizers will send updates and information about CMM25 to applicants by email.
Withdrawal and Revocation of Applications
• Withdrawals of applications must be made on or before 15 August 2025. The Organizers will refund 90% of the application fee.
• No refunds will be made if notice of withdrawal is given after 15 August 2025.
• The Organizers reserve the right to revoke accepted applications without cause and will refund the full application fees paid.
